This year I am currently taking a generative AI class. I wanted to add one of my projects I did. This class has been really insightful as AI is being used more frequently, I think it’s a great skill to have. For this assignment, I chose to generate designer front cover pictures of African Animals sitting in bathtubs as a creative way to share interesting facts about wildlife in Africa. Each scene represents a different habitat, such as the ocean, grasslands, or the forest [depending on where the animal lives]. Inside the bathtub, I included representations of each animal’s diet, while the mirror reflects their main predator or threat.

One of the most impactful pieces is the rhino, where I showed a poacher with a gun in the mirror to highlight the real and urgent threat of poaching, which has sadly pushed rhinos close to extinction. I also paid attention to colour by matching the head towel of most of the animals to the tones of their fur or feathers.

I also did fun props to tie in the brands to the picture. I really wanted each picture to be cohesive but also unpredictable. That's why I added different bath props like the towel, cucumber eye mask and the drinks.

The next step is to alter them and potentially change the text to be messages for cards so that I can sell them without being copy-righted.
